PISTOL 1A: Pistol Basics
This introductory class is designed for someone brand new with little to no experience using a handgun. Class sizes are kept small for more one-on-one time on the range. This is one of the most comprehensive classes designed with your success in mind. Upon completing this class, you’ll be comfortable selecting the correct firearm that will help you succeed with your new interest. You will also have actionable items for you to continue to work on from home and at the range.
What you will learn:
· Universal Firearm Safety
· Different types of handguns and their actions
· Types of ammunition
· Safe loading and unloading procedures
· How to shop for the firearm that fits
· Live-fire exercises to demonstrate proper loading/ unloading and safe handling procedures learned
· How to practice at the Range safely moving forward
Equipment required:
The class requires eye and ear protection and at least 50 rounds of ammunition for the firearm you will use.

PISTOL 1B: Precision Pistol Science
Course Description:
The Precision Pistol Science Course is designed for shooters who have a foundational understanding of their handgun operation and want to refine their accuracy and precision shooting skills. This course explains the science of your muscular influence while shooting a handgun and helps you learn how to isolate muscle groups to cause perfect precision through the combination of in-depth dry-fire practice and live-fire drills to develop consistency and proficiency in precision shooting. Whether you are a competitive shooter, self-defense practitioner, or firearm enthusiast, this course will help you improve shot placement, recoil management, and target acquisition under various conditions.
What you will learn:
- Reinforce and apply universal firearm safety principles.
- Optimize handgun fit and ergonomics for improved accuracy.
- Master grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control.
- Develop precision shooting techniques and learn to diagnose shot patterns.
- Engage targets successfully at distances up to 25 yards.
- Implement effective cadence drills for faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
- Learn and execute structured warm-up drills to enhance consistency and performance.
- Learn how to evaluate your performance executing the required drills and make the proper adjustments to improve on your own.
Required Equipment:
- Eye and ear protection.
- A reliable handgun with at least 200 rounds of ammunition.
- A high-quality holster with two points of contact with your belt that maintains shape and covers the trigger guard (AIWB is permitted).
- Additional magazines and magazine pouches (recommended but not required).

PISTOL 2: Holster Draw Efficiency
Building on the skills from Precision Pistol Science, this course is designed to develop speed through efficient, controlled movement while maintaining accuracy from the holster. Many go fast, ugly, and it shows up on target. When it matters most, we must learn how to be efficient and consistent intentionally to protect ourselves and our loved ones. But more importantly, understanding how we achieve this so we can improve through perfect repetition. In this class, you will learn to efficiently draw, acquire your target, and fire accurately in 1.5 seconds or less. Through structured drills and live-fire exercises, you’ll refine your technique to enhance both precision and reaction time.
What You’ll Learn:
- Mastering the Holster Draw – Proper technique for an efficient draw
- First-Shot Accuracy – Hitting your target immediately from the holster effectively
- Warm-Up Drills – Build muscle memory and improve performance
- Cadence & Follow-Through – Controlling recoil and maintaining accuracy through repetitive shooting.
- Sight Picture at Various Distances – Adjust for fast, accurate shots at any range
- Timed Stress Shooting – Learn to perform under pressure and realistic time constraints
- Achieving a 1.5-Second Draw stroke – Gain the skills to react fast and effectively
Required Equipment:
- Eye & ear protection
- Semi-automatic pistol (or revolver) with at least three (3) magazines or speed loaders
- At least 300 rounds of ammunition
- A quality holster with two points of contact with your belt, non-collapsing structure, full trigger guard coverage, and a secure fit (AIWB is allowed)

PISTOL 3: EDC Essentials
The Everyday Carry (EDC) Essentials course is designed for shooters who want to elevate their defensive carry skills beyond the fundamentals. Building on the techniques learned in Holster efficiency, this course challenges students with real-world scenarios, requiring quick decision-making and adaptability under pressure. Students will be taken beyond their comfort zones, developing the ability to react effectively in high-stress situations. Through judgmental shooting exercises, movement drills, and family protection strategies, this course prepares students for the complexities of carrying a firearm for personal defense.
This is a 7-8 hour immersive training experience that pushes participants to refine their skills while introducing dynamic problem-solving techniques.
What you will learn:
- Execute
smooth, efficient draws from concealed carry.
- Achieve
first-shot accuracy from concealment.
- Master
structured warm-up and shooting drills for real-world application.
- Engage
multiple targets with speed and precision.
- Perform
reloads and malfunction clearing under induced stress.

PISTOL 4: Defensive Pistol I
The Defensive Pistol I course introduces shooting with proper use of cover and concealment that might be found in your home or when out in public. Fighting with your pistol while the family is present adds a new level of stress and discomfort. In this class, you will learn how to expose your opponent without exposing yourself. This class is a 7-8hr class not including lunch.
Focus areas within this course include:
· Will include a review of all previously learned skills
· All work will be done from concealment
· Reloading & malfunction drills
· Shooting from cover/concealment
· The movement to and from cover/concealment
· Family member protection concepts
Class Prerequisites:
Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear before attending this course. Successful completion of Pistol 3 EDC Essentials or equivalent. Failure to meet these guidelines will prohibit you from attending the course.
Equipment and supplies required:
This class requires eye and ear protection and at least 500 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use
Semi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders
A quality holster that has 2 points of contact and does not collapse. Must cover trigger guard, must not be loose. Must allow an unassisted return. AIWB is ok. This class incorporates concealment.

Upcoming Pistol 4: Defensive Pistol I
PISTOL 5: Defensive Pistol II
Defensive Pistol II is our most advanced pistol fighting class that incorporates dynamic movement to and from your intended target using proper cover and concealment. This 7-8 hour class builds upon the skills found in the Defensive Pistol I course in one day and includes hands-on dry-fire practice and live-fire drills with low light conditions.
Focus areas within this course include:
· All previously learned skills will be reviewed and verified
· Multiple flashlight techniques
· Dynamic low light shooting techniques
· Weapon retention and fighting for the gun
· Breaking contact with physical and verbal judo
· Room clearing concepts
· Live fire exercises that incorporate reactive targets
Class Prerequisites:
Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear before attending this course and have completed the Home Defensive Concepts course or equivalent.
Equipment and supplies required:
This class requires eye and ear protection and at least 500 rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use.
Semi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders.
A quality strong side holster that has two points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters, purse holsters,). AIWB is ok. A handheld flashlight that uses a momentary switch only, not an on/off switch. This class incorporates concealment the entire time.

Upcoming Pistol 5: Defensive Pistol II
2 Day EDC Essential Pistol
The 2-day EDC Essential Pistol course takes you outside the static range environment. We begin Day one with essential pistol precision skills, speed, and precision out of the holster, before applying these principles to concealed carry.
On Day two we turn to malfunction management, various reload proficiency drills and dynamic movement drills. We will finish day two by using judgment to engage multiple shoot, no-shoot targets while moving, using time-induced stress.
Each class is tailored to the student in attendance regardless of background or experience. Multiple instructors will be on hand to provide a one-on-one experience through each process of learning.
Class Prerequisites:
Students must have the basic skills required to safely load unload and operate their firearm without any assistance. Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear before attending this course.
Equipment and supplies required:
This class requires eye and ear protection and at least 800+ rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use.
Semi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders.
A quality holster (open or concealed) that has secure belt points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters, purse holsters permitted) AIWB is ok. This class incorporates your concealment garment.

Upcoming 2 Day EDC Essentials Course
2 Day Defensive Pistol/ Low Light
Fighting in the dark isn’t practiced enough. Most incidents of self-defense happen in low light or poor light and require special considerations when manipulating your firearm and flashlight.
Defensive Pistol/ Low Light introduces low light shooting with proper use of cover and concealment that might be found in your home or when out in public. Fighting with your pistol while holding a flashlight can be complex, in this class you will learn how to expose your opponent without exposing yourself.
Day two incorporates dynamic movement to and from your intended target using proper cover and concealment. Under timed stress, you will have to search and engage proper targets.
Instructors will be on hand to help provide a more one-on-one experience through the learning process.
Class Prerequisites:
Students MUST have all appropriate equipment and gear before attending this course and have completed EDC Essentials or equivalent with instructor exception.
Equipment and supplies required:
This class requires eye and ear protection and at least 800+ rounds of ammunition for the handgun you will use.
Semi-automatic pistol with three (3) magazines and spare magazine carrier or a revolver with three (3) speed loaders and carrier for speed loaders.
A quality strong holster that has secure points of contact and does not collapse (no shoulder holsters, purse holsters,). AIWB is ok Handheld flashlight that uses a momentary switch only, not an on/off switch. Students may also use weapon-mounted lights in addition to a handheld light, provided the holster permits. Students may want to bring more than 100+ lumens. This class incorporates concealment.
