David put us through the ringer to make sure we were ready to teach and ensure people learned safe firearm handling and help us avoid being hurt in class. He is a great teacher and I hope to learn more from him in the future. Can’t recommend him enough.

Every class starts with a safety brief, firearms inspection, and instructor/student introductions. The instructors are heavily invested in your learn and they make it clear from the word go. No matter the size of the class they will work with you individually to help you achieve your goals and they will praise you when you succeed.
The classes are affordable and the instructors know what ammo costs these days so they make every round count in the class. You can go anywhere an find a “trainer” who is going to “train” you. Now if you want to learn in an environment that is conducive to your learning, to reach your personal goals, from someone who is invested in your learning. Then do what I did and call DCS Training.
Firearms Trainer, Dave Laird, was our instructor on 3.29.20 for two classes: Precision Pistol and Holster Fundamentals. These two back-to-back same-day classes offered individualized hands-on training that took me and my fellow students, at a comfortable pace, from the basics of firearm use through to having us drawing a firearm from a concealed carry position within 1.5 seconds, and accurately firing on our intended target!
These are skills that I will use in my ongoing firearms training, and I believe they have set me up for success as a Responsibly Armed Citizen.
